The latest figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) are in. They show: UK unemployment rose by 28,000 to 2.67 million during the three months to January; Number of people claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance increased by 7,200 to 1.61 million in February; Part-time employment rose by 59,000 to 6.6 million and full-time employment fell 50,000; Average earnings increased by 1.4% in the year to January; and Public sector employment fell by 37,000 in the final quarter of 2011 (to...

Not really a surprise here – the Tribunals and Higher Courts were stating in 2009/2010 that, according to European Law, annual leave and sick leave were two different things and should not overlap (see here).
